Eco-Flats is founded and operated by Tom Knezic, an architect with expertise in sustainable multiplex development. For two decades prior to Eco-Flats, Tom was co-principal of Solares Architecture, a Toronto-based studio dedicated to energy-efficient residential design throughout Ontario. Tom continues to work with Solares Architecture in collaboration on Eco-Flats projects.

While designing numerous multiplex projects, he has also developed five of his own, which he continues to manage. He now combines his experience with designing, building, and managing multiplex properties with his expertise in energy-efficient building construction to provide his clients with quality end-to-end services, ranging from pre-project consultation and strategy, to construction management, to post-construction lease-up and property management.
